Harvey Nichol

Harvey Nichol is one of my favorite designers.  I have always been into fashion and fashion ads.  Harvey Nichol has very different ads.  I love getting my Vogue Magazine to find his ads.  I'll save some of them to help me become what I want to be.  I want to design an ad like that.

This ad, to me, means she is thinking a lot about her beauty.  Her "thought bubble"  has taken over and knocked everyone down.  He has a lot of ads like this one that has the "thought bubble".

These ads are just trying to make a statement and I think they have.  I can't wait for next month's ad to come out to see what else they can do.  These ads make me want to buy Harvey Nichols clothing and cologne.

trucking.

This is one of the trucks that carry a certain kind of drink.  I'm not sure what the drink is but i thought it was really neat how it was displayed.  It looks 3D from this angle.  I had found it at google.com.  It's a simple design with a lot of white space.

sunkist.

Sunkist soft drink uses the psychedelic type faces.  It's was part of that era.  I found this in my fridge and thought of my blog and that it was psychedelic so I googled "sunkist drinks" to find a better picture.  I think the quality of this typeface is perfect for this drink and that era.

Harvey Nichols

Harvey Nichols is a great fashion designer and has a great perfume line.  This is one of my favorite designers and thought this was a great ad for his style of clothing.  I found this ad on his website harveynichols.com.tr.  I really like this ad and how it was put together.

lucky strikes

This is an ad for "Lucky Strike Cigarettes"  It's trying to tell their audience to smoke and if you smoke you'll get slimmer.  I found this online.  It is another example of Art Deco.  I think this is a good design for that era.  It attracted me for being a little different.

Vogue

This is a magazine cover from a 1928 issue of Vogue.  I found it online at vogue.com.  This is an art deco theme.   I think it is a good quality.   I would like to look at this magazine to see what kind of articles and fashion they had at this time.  It attracted me because this is one of my favorite magazines.

Pepsi, please.

I found this ad in an old book my grandma had.  It's focusing on a couple with a Pepsi.  They're at the drive-in.  It's a retro-style design.  I liked this piece because it was an older ad for Pepsi instead of the ads we have now for Pepsi.
